Playgroups

Our aim for our Playgroups is to provide a caring, supportive and friendly environment for families with young children aged 0 – 5.  Children develop through fun, play and learning while adults make new and lasting friendships.

Come along and have fun with playful craft and other activities run by an experienced play leader. Or just have fun exploring our wonderful outdoor play area and toys. Join in with the story time and song time held at the end of the session. Playgroups are held during school Terms.

Chatter Time Playgroup

Monday 9:30am – 11:30am

Please bring a piece of fruit, hat and sunscreen to each session

A FREE supported playgroup with support workers and counsellor for parents/carers/grandcarers.

Guest speakers

Access to structured, planned early childhood activities that promote child development.

Parenting support

Morning tea to help to promote healthy eating.

Time to develop social connections

Songs, stories and Mat time.

 

Playaways Playgroup

Tuesdays 9.30 – 11.30 am

Cost: Free

This is a supportive, relaxed and friendly group of parents with young children. Children grow and develop through playful craft and activities run by an experienced play leader. Stories and songs, laughter and friendships are to be had here. Suitable for 0-5yrs.

Other Playgroup Opportunities…. 

Play in the Park.

Is a free  “”drop in” playgroup in a lovely outdoor setting. Come along and join in a variety of craft, games, stories, rhymes and other fun activities for children aged 0-5 years. Bring along a bottle of water, healthy snack and remember to be sun smart and slip, slop, slap.

Meet other parents, share in activities and find out what is available in the area. Enjoy playing, socialising and creating fun with your children in a great outdoor setting.

Sessions are held Tuesdays at Percy’s Park, Mead Street, Byford and Wednesdays at Memorial Park – Jull Street, Armadale.

 Session times are 9:30am – 11:30am
